Welcome to the Bennie Lee "Ben" Ferguson candidate website. Ferguson is running in the 2008 general election as the official Libertarian candidate for the Kansas House of Representatives (District 104). As a Libertarian, this candidate is firmly committed to the preservation of the basic civil rights and liberties we enjoy as Americans, and as Kansans. Of equal concern is the undue burden of excessive taxation which plagues Kansas in particular. Kansas has increasingly added to its state debt over the past few decades. It went from being considered a low debt state in 1990 to being ranked 16th highest in debt as a percent of personal income. As your state representative, Ferguson is pledged to work tirelessly in an effort to decrease Kansans' tax burden. Your interest and support are appreciated
